These pieces are electroplated items from Elkington & Co, Birmingham. The “R” in a diamond indicates a date of 1856.
Thank you for your help. This set is a heirloom, are engraved with my grandfather initials. Since I have more, where can I get them value for insurance purposes. Thank you again for your response.
Since they contain virtually no precious metal, they have only decorative and/or sentimental value. No real need for insurance.
