I have 6 trefid spoons with these marks, can anyone identify the date for me please. I believe the makers mark is that of Thomas Bradbury &Sons but am confused with the date letter and the other two marks. Many thanks in advance.
This is a London hallmark and the date letter “t” is that of 1934. Your confusion probably arises from the fact that this is a Britannia standard (.958) rather than sterling (.925) hallmark. The other two marks are therefore the leopard’s head erased for London and Britannia. Thomas Bradbury & Sons were making Britannia standard trefid spoons, probably as presentation sets, at this period.
