Looking for some help please with the hallmarks of a brooch/kilt pin.
I can see the thistle and the castle, so understand it’s Scottish and Edinburgh. But I’m having difficulty making out the letter, I’m thinking it’s a Q?
Also does anyone know who/what the SS is?

You are right - it’s a Q, so Edinburgh 1971/72. SS is Shetland Silvercraft.
