This pocket watch has been in my family for a long time. Can anyone help me with the hallmarks please.
This is a Birmingham sterling mark with the date letter z for the assay year 1899/1900. The sponsor’s mark AB is that of the Waltham Watch Company, an American watch making company. AB are the initials of Alfred Bedford, the manager of the London branch of the company.
