Help with two marks on cabochon quartz and silver

Hi. I purchased a silver ring with a rose quartz stone. The stone has two marks on the back. I would greatly appreciate any help interpreting these. My best guess is Mexico? The seller purchased it in Barcelona and described it as “vintage”. Unfortunately I think the ring part was added over one of the marks. Many thanks.

Definitely Mexico. In fact part of the obscured mark appears to read “MEXIC”. An outline of Mexican markings can be found here. Apparently the number 82 in the eagle mark signifies either the assay location or the maker.
