The hallmarks are for sterling silver, assayed in Birmingham, with a date letter indicating 1939:

The maker is James Fenton:

A quick search on eBay for sterling sports medallion indicates that these were produced in large numbers, and don’t fetch much. If it were tied to a famous athlete, that might change the picture, of course. :slight_smile:
