When posting for the first time on a site like this, it would be smart to pay attention to the normal practices on the site.
Do you see any other threads here in which the subject line, instead of being normal text, is a URL? What do you deduce from this?
Do you see any other thread here in which photos, instead of being included in the post, are links to an external site? What do you deduce from this?
Finally, when people post fuzzy, out-of-focus photos here, what do we always ask them to do? What do you deduce from this?
That said, this is not sterling silver. It does appear to be from Mappin Brothers, but what gives you the idea that this is a one-of-a-kind piece? This appears to be mass-produced electroplate. The 2694 is a catalog number.
As such it has only decorative value, and is worth very little. Where can you sell it? Do you ever sell things at car boot sales? That’s your market.
For sell, use the Ebay and Etsy, to know how much the people pay, use Ebay advanced search - sold itens.
This piece is obviously not by Evered. And it’s not Georgian. Mappin Brothers, Cheapside, 1890’s.
The burner might be, but that doesn’t change what the lamp is. Late Victorian, Mappin Brothers.
By analogy, the fact that electric lamps in the US have been using sockets made by Leviton for decades doesn’t make them all the same.
