Here’s acomplete history of the Meriden Britannia Company

Unlike sterling silver, silverplate is almost never dated. Your pieces were made by the Meriden Britannia Company, in Meriden, Connecticut, established in the latter half of the 19th Century. They were absorbed by International Silver in 1898, but continued to stamp their own name on pieces.
