I need help to identify a Coffee Urn/Pot

I need help identifing this coffee pot that is ceramic lined. The only identification is a “W” inside a spiders web and the number 43 on the bottom. I do not know how to include phorots!

We’ll really need to see some photos: a picture or two of the whole pot, and a clear, closeup photo of any and all markings you find on the bottom. To include a photo, when composing your post, just click on the little “landscape” icon, here:

Don’t reduce the size of the photos before posting them - the full resolution from the phone/camera is best. And if your phone is reasonably new, experiment - you might discover that if you hold it mere inches from the bottom of the pot, it will automatically shift into “macro” mode, and produce a very sharp image of the tiny markings.

Any other info you can provide will help. How did you acquire this pot? Where did it come from? Knowing, for example, that your Slovakian grandmother had it in her flat in Bratislava would be useful info!

But even in the absence of photos, we might be able to help, if the mark on the bottom looks like this:

If that’s it, you’re looking at silverplate (not sterling) from the E.G. Webster Company, New York, late 19th Century. The “43” would just be a model or stock number. Purely decorative value, since there’s almost no actual silver present.
