The first of the 5 marks is the manufacturer’s mark but there is not enough left to make it out. The other 4 read EPBM. This stands for electroplated Britannia metal so your sucrier, or sugar bowl, is not silver. Britannia metal is a pewter-like base metal alloy and it has very thin, almost microscopically thin, layer of silver on the surface.
