Identify silver container/bottle

First time on site. I recently bought a silver container/bottle made by reed and Barton. On the bottom of this item below the name there are the

markings 5 and a 0 then a star circled by dots and one unidentified mark. The bottle is the size and shape of a bowling pin kinda but the screw on top is the size of a baseball. Overall 11” tall weight is 37 5/8 oz.
Any help to identify unidentified mark and to find out if it is sterling. Thank you

Hello, this is an American brand and they made sterling silver items and silver plated items. Since your item does not have “STERLING” engraved on it, I can tell you with 98% certainty that it is silver plated. The star inside the circle refers to the year, 1946.
