This link provides preliminary information on the 1930’s revival of silver in Indonesia One of these places of revivial was Kota Gede on Java, nowadays Kotagede near the city that is now called Yogyakarta, but was known as Djokjakarta in colonial times.

The ring is apparently make by TJ of .800 silver sometime after 1930. There may well be an informal registry of small workers. but I cannot turn it up. THere are lists of large commercial silversmiths but they seem to be resellers. A number of makers are part time.

Thanks Chris, any input is appreciated
