I have an antique kettle teapot it think is Silver electroplated. Does anyone know the mark like a shield with ‘R’ and the shield mark kon the other side looks floral like. Might be Sheffield plate

The “R” mark is probably the owner’s mark. For a manufacturer’s mark try underneath. I have deleted your first pictureless post.

I think the “R” may be for the Robertson clan in Scotland with that belt and buckle surrounding it.
