Information about ACB Ltd

Hi everyone,

I have a coffee pot with hallmarks and according to the excellent silvermakersmarks website I’ve identified it a Sheffield assay office, Sterling Silver, 1937 piece with the maker’s mark A.C.B.Ltd. The website lists this mark as ACB Ltd but no other information nor can I find anything on the internet that relates to them. Can anyone help with more?

Thanks for the mention of my site! I think that the only way we are going to get an identification of this mark is by contacting the Sheffield Assay Office directly. I note that my only sighting of the mark is also 1937 so they were probably fairly short-lived as a company.
