Found help. Was told it was made by the Quaker Silver Co.
This is American silver. “Sterling” indicates that the manufacturer claims it to be 925 standard silver. The manufacturer’s own identification mark is that of Quaker Silver Co of North Attleboro, MA, who were in business c1926-1959.
