Initials or pictorial marks? On sterling perpetual calendar

I have a nice sterling perpetual calendar that has a maker’s mark that looks like it is three initials or pictorial marks in the shape of a diamond. I believe it’s either British or American but can’t find the marking in online encyclopedias. Photos are attached - the marks are a bit worn so difficult to make out but I know if anyone can identify it, someone from this group can!

Dorothy T Rainwater’s Encyclopedia of American Silver Manufacturers records this as the mark of I.N. Deitsch of New York. “Listed in the Jewelers Circular 1904-1915 as manufacturers of sterling silverware. No records after c.1920.”

Thanks so much Phil! Now I can sort of make out the I N and D in the diamond! Very helpful.
