Excellent stuff!!! Any ideas on this as I’ve had offers on it but only on silver weight which to me is criminal. Is this a recent trend where antiques are going fro scrap value? Apologies I’m pretty new to all this but have been bitten by the silver bug!

Is it rare would you say or fairly common. All the bits and pieces are there and in decent nick. Sorry to bother you so! It’s a welcome, temporary distraction from what I’m supposed to be doing!
In my humble opinion, this is a beautiful and quite unique item. Definitely worth keeping in your home collection.
