James Dixon & sons

#1

Hello, I have a James Dixon & Sons Tea Pot that has been damaged in a house fire. I’m not intrested in monetry value, just the history of the item and the age of it. Can someone help identfy the year it was made?

EPBM stands for ElectroPlated Britannia Metal so your teapot is silver plated rather than solid silver. The date could be any time from late 19th century up to about 1935.
