The item pictured has the marking on the bottom James W Tufts Boston Warranted Quadruple Plate 115 it also has two overlapping diamonds with a T in the middle. I know that this is a registered mark of the James W Tufts company and I think that the 115 is the item number. However I can’t find a description of this item’s use anywhere. Can you help?
I think I have finally found out that this is a Victorian Pickle Castor. Unfortunately the jar and tongs are missing.
