JJS as a maker's mark

Hello All. I bought a little silver rimmed , horn beaker with a Glasgow 1901 assay mark and a maker’s initial JJS. He is recorded as a plaque maker in 1901, but without name detail. Has anyone come across this (probably Scottish) silversmith?
TIA for any help
Gerry

I have seen a JJS Glasgow mark (each letter in its own box) but the maker is not identified in the online database of Scottish marks of the Incorporation of Goldsmiths of the City of Edinburgh so it is likely that the relevant identification information is lost.

Thanks, Phil. I hit the same dead end, so I guess what you have concluded is a nod to giving up the search. Many thanks for your help. Regards. Gerry
