We recently picked up this item at an estate sale and noticed the stamps on the bottom. We have been able to identify it as a John around and Son dish and are interest to know what it’s value might be. The numbers aware 31698. I think it might be a pickle serving dish ?

As your dish is electroplated and not silver it has no intrinsic value with regard to silver content. Any value is down to utility or decorative considerations. 2-part plain serving dishes seem to be selling on Ebay for £10-£20.
