Kia ora (hello) everyone, I bought this coffee/teapot today at a charity shop and I love it. I’m going to use it as a vase. I have no idea where it’s from, how old or even if it is a coffee or tea pot… please help enlighten me. Thanks very much!
Your purchase is electroplate and from the style mid 20th century. The manufacturer was Roberts & Dore Ltd of Sheffield and London (hence R&D, S&L in the mark).
It’s actually a hot water pot from a tea and/or coffee set.
