Large spoon silver or plated?

Hi can anyone help identify if this is a Russian silver spoon or plated??

French silver plate. Alpenide is the base metal. 88 is the year of production (1888). The other two are the manufacturer name and his mark with the number (blurred) stating how many grams of pure silver were used per two dozens of cutlery.
