I understand the Lion, the Leopard and the d but I can’t find this maker’s mark anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
The maker’s mark was probably not struck very well originally and has also become a bit worn over the years. I am certain that it should read C S over H for Charles Stuart Harris. My exemplar of his mark:
There is also a variation without the stop between the C and S.
