Got a piece at auction, was wondering what these hallmarks meant - I can’t seem to find anything on them.
Are these your pictures? They appear to be exactly the same as the ones at the bottom of the page on this site under the heading “Unidentified silver plate marks”. I would agree that they are, at best, silver plate. The Old English letters are, I think, DO.
