Napkin ring identification

Bought a bag full of sterling napkin rings and this one only had a s 109 mark. Trying to determine the composition and or the maker. Thanks!

The markings have no significance whatsoever. They are some sort of identification number used by the manufacturer; a pattern number perhaps. So they don’t define the napkin ring’s composition which, in the absence of any fineness marks, is going to be either electroplate or a base metal alloy.
