I recently picked up this set. I get really confused with British Hallmarks. The bands look like sterling. I would like to know about the blades and what the hallmarks read, Thanks in advance.
The mark reads H B & H S. This is Harrison Brothers & Howson of Sheffield. However it is not a hallmark as there is no indication of silver content. The blade may be electroplated or otherwise is a base metal of some sort.
