I have 6 pieces of silver-plate that I want to sell but I am not sure how to price them. First question is whether there is a market for silver-plate items. My quick glance at eBay tells me that the prices are pretty low - if one can trust that information. If it is worth the effort to find out, then I will photograph and post the photos. The pieces are like new but all of them have a fairly “modern” look to them.
Hi Luisa and thanks for joining us. If your items are flatware - forks, spoons, etc - they are probably not worth trying to sell. About the only “modern” silver plate that seems to have any value are epergnes, tall vases, and centerpieces.
