No assay office mark

I’m very new to this and getting confused with what I’m seeing online.

I have a silver teaspoon with date mark “i” and the passant lion. There is no other mark.

Can anyone help interpret?

Thanks in advance

London was regarded as the major assay office and the assay mark was often left off silver items. Your item was assayed in London

Thanks so much.

Any ideas on the year?

1784, between 29th May and 30th November. From December it would also have had a duty mark.

Phil

I had no idea it was so old. Thanks so much for your help.
