Hi, is anyone able to help with these hallmarks please, I’m a complete newbie, found these in my dads house clearance and getting nowhere with researching online. Keen to get some info on them. Thank you!
C Bros and EP on your first are Cooper Brothers of Sheffield and electroplate.
ID&S on the second is James Dixon & Sons, also of Sheffield and also electroplated.
JY&S on the third is John Yates & Sons of Birmingham. “Silvern” may indicate electroplate; alternatively it may be a trade name for a base metal alloy.
