Please help identify this antique jewelry hallmark

Bought a vintage/ antique silver cannetille necklace earring set. There is a tiny practically microscopic hallmark on each earring back and the clasp O-ring on the necklace. It looks like a capital “I” with an elaborate circular symbol next to it which I think is half cut off due to the very thin piece they stamped it on (why so tiny why there, ai yi yi…) Does anyone have any clue what this hallmark is? Other sellers label similar pieces as 800 or 900 silver. Some of theirs are marked as such. This was very very hard to capture with my phone. The half-circle symbol has lines and shapes inside and something coming off the bottom I think. Could this be a messy Mexico stamp?

Could you please post a photo of the earrings fronts. It is hard to see mark IRL it might be the Mexican Bell shape Eagle mark or a Mexican mark. Style of earring could help ID the item

Sharper photos of hallmarks, please (macro mode).

They don’t look any better, they look like your example does. My phone camera is not the best. That is literally the best it will look. This hallmark is so small it’s not visible with the naked eye. I didn’t even know it was marked until I look at it with a loupe.

Since they are filigree and screw back they could be made in several countries, Mexico, India and Japan made and still make fillagree. In the USA in the 1900-1920 fillagree was very popular those being Edwardian, Art Deco and Art Noveau periods. Without holding them in my hand with a loupe the mark is partial and really hard to see so Bartholomew is the ace contributor on that hunt and skill, I defer to him. A reputable jeweler might test the items for you as to silver content. 800 & 900 doesn’t respond well to stone and acid test at home. Love them and wear them they are very nice if your concern is the value as opposed to purchase price a jeweler might be helpful.

Thank you! India might be a good guess for the letter I but in my jewelry collecting have never personally seen India hallmarks. The matching necklace is stunning.
