please help me determine the origins of this spoon

This is a very old looking spoon very plain. The markings say ALPACA
Next to that a circle with a stick figure holding an anchor under the figure it says HETOVIA this is all inside the circle. Then next to that a rose or flower next to that it reads LA PRINCESA under that it say NEPTUNO 121. Please help
any info will help

Hi, looks like Alpaca is a generic trade name for Nickel Silver or EPNS. It is commonly found in South America (Peru & Mexico in particular) which would explain the Spanish so I think this is the most likely origin. Hope this helps. Mac
