Please help with identifying maker. Thank you

Hello everyone

I’m new here and really looking forward to sharing and helping where I can.

I purchased this lovely little silver jug online as Dutch, however when it arrived, the marks are completely different and I do not recognise them. I still love it, so I haven’t quibbled, but hoped someone might have an idea of country and maker please? I’ve researched Chinese, German, Austrian-Hungarian, Russian. But I’ve exhausted my resources and really hoped someone here would be able to help me.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you. I thought it was Chinese too, but couldn’t determine the marks, particularly what looks like a bird, as well as the characters. The marks are also similar to Hanau, but I couldn’t find an exact match. Thank you
