Hi everyone, I wondered if anyone could help me out with the markings on these tongs. Very mush appreciated.

Most of British electroplaters used a letter code to identify the quality of their “Plated” wares. The best quality was “A1” or “AI”, lower level was “A”, next level was “B”, followed by level “C”, and the lowest level was “D”.
Deykin & Sons in addition to the traditional method based on letters of the alphabet (A, B and C).
