Hi - Looked everywhere with not luck - anybody recognize the mark on the bottom of this scallop tray? Guessing silver plate as no other marks but the tray is not as heavy as typical plate (but the handle is heavy)- Only 3 initials and the & as marks on center bottom. 2 cups have no marks. Admittedly, I’m not even sure what are the actual letters in the hallmark. Thx!
I’m having difficulty with the letters too. My best guess is “L” at top left, “TU” top right and probably “S” at the bottom. I have been unable to identify the maker but whatever the letters are this is typical of a plater’s mark so I am certain that your piece is electroplated.
