Need help identifying where this silver brooch is from. States J.JORGENSON & SON and Sterling. Has a 49 and a winged star.
Google returns several results for Julius Jorgenson & Son, jewellers & silversmiths, New York.
The winged star is the trademark of Herbst & Wassell, a New York silver & goldsmith in business from 1909 to 1940 which is the maker, and Jorgenson would have been the retailer.
