Hi, I have a very pretty jug with worn marks. Any experts that can help read these much appreciated!
It’s electroplated, not silver. The worn mark on the left is RH over RH for RIchard Hodd & Son and between the fleur-de-lis and crown are the Gothic-style letters E P for electroplate. I suspect that “Brown’s” is probably the name of a restaurant or hotel which owned this (and others) for use by its customers.
