Help please in identifying marks on serving spoons
This could be Mappin Brothers of Sheffield & London. I haven’t seen this exact mark before, but they certainly used a sun and “MB” at times. Assuming that it is Mappin Brothers then this is an electroplate mark.
Thank you for your prompt reply. I realized they were not silver but as a pair over 9" long with pierced bowls and handles, also heavily engraved, were most interesting, presumably aged between 1890-1903
