I am not able to make out these marks . It could be norwegian as it is in an old box with a norwegian name on it .
I had great difficulty photographing the hallmark but can anyone rcognise it . I would be mos grateful for any details
This is made in Germany. The style is ‘The Rose of Hildesheim’.The markings indicate 835 quality silver (as compared with 925 sterling silver). The following mark is C suroounding W. This stands for Christoph Widmann of Pforzheim, G 
ermany who makes a wide range of similar products.
