Hi there I have some silver plate Francis howard cutlery.

I was wondering if anyone cold tell the date from the mark

it is firstly a C then FH then a target then S

The simple answer is, no. Silver plate is very difficult to date. Very few manufacturers bothered to use any sort of date coding.
