I have a tray that my granparents used when they had a pub. I have been ask’d by family to sell & I was wondering its value? Its size is 66cm long with handles & 43cm wide
As the tray is plated it has no intrinsic value for silver content - value is utility and decorative only. My feeling is that value will be a few tens of pounds but you can check out the completed auctions on Ebay to see if you can find something of similar size which has actually sold. You should also be aware that any damage to the plating will seriously affect any value.
