I had picked up a pot with the bottom markings of W.H., BHA in a rectangle and the number 872. Just wanted to know if it is solid silver or just plated, and is it worth anything?
I don’t recognise the mark but it’s most likely to be plated as there is no indication of silver fineness (e.g. sterling, 925, etc).
