I have a sterling pocket hook that’s stamped Rodger’s Cutlers to Her Majesty and a Maltese cross and Star stamp. A little research says it’s likely a glove hook used to secure rows of buttons on gloves. Any other info anyone can provide appreciated! I polished a little but couldn’t get the rust(?) off the hook very well.

The hook part is probably stainless steel so silver polish won’t do much to clean it. Try this.
White Metal Polish : steel, stainless steel and chrome cleaner
