Please can you give me some informations about this set, which price is it, how old is it… etc
The mark is an electroplate mark and shows the manufacturer to be Elkington & Co of Birmingham. Unusually for electroplaters, Elkington used a private date coding system; this mark has their date code, R, for 1877. As the set is not silver it has no intrinsic value. If the plating is in good condition it may have some little value, but I notice that it does not have a creamer (milk jug) so it is incomplete.
