Silver Spoon Found + Hallmarks. Captain Cook?

Hi, I found a silver spoon about 1m deep beneath the sand on Bruny Island in Tasmania (Australia). Captain Cook visited the island in the 1700s and I wonder if he left it behind? Can anyone help with identification? Image below. Thank you.

This is electroplate, not silver, and is much more recent than Cook (late 19th, early 20th century). EP is for electroplate and A1 is the manufacturer’s own estimate of plating quality. The symbol at the top of your picture, an eagle, was used by the Potosi Silver Company, a Birmingham company owned by the silversmiths Levi & Salaman.
