Hi friends, could you please share info. I have this very heavy dish, some one has sent to me as sterling. Immediately I noticed no maker marks, and it tests very irregular with an xrf. Is the manufacturer using the standing lion in a circle to pretend this is sterling? It is 830 grams, my senses say a reputable maker would put their mark on it. Thank you! Susan

That is a silverplate mark of Charles Howard Collins of Birmingham.
