I have found 6 dinner forks, each stamped with ‘Spanish Silver’ and a complex backstamp. I’ a little confused as I can’t find any info re, Spanish Silver.
Would be grateful to receive any inf.
Spanish Silver was a trademark used by the Sheffield company William Gregory & Sons. It is probably their proprietary silver-coloured base metal alloy and of course contains no silver.
