H.N. Mills succeeded the business of Orfèvrerie Vanden Torren of Bruxelles, and continued the use of Vanden Torren’s ‘Tower’ trade mark.
The Orfevrerie Mills took over from the silversmith Van der Torren in the early 20th century, probably around the 1920’s or 1930’s, and continued to produce silverware until at least the 1960’s. The company was located at numbers 52-54 Rue van Schoor in Brussels (Van Schoorstraat 52-54).

Thank you! Is there any chance that this piece can be silver? Or just silver plated?

A “12 Loth” silver hallmark indicates an antique silver purity of 750/1000.
