I cant tell if this is solid silver or just silver plated , or silver at all? The top handle says Spitzer im pretty sure . The back neck by the scoop says Sterling with an ‘‘m’’ between 2 weird marks . I can’t figure it out . My phone doesnt take good pictures .

Hi there and thanks for joining us. If it says “sterling” its probably solid silver and American. If you can’t get a close up photo of the marks, try giving a very detailed verbal description of the “two wierd marks” that flank the “M”, and describe the style of the letter M…for example, Manchester Mfg. Company’s mark is a M between what I consider two “wierd” marks - half birds facing eath other.
