Hello, I need help identifying the mark and period of this piece. I did take it down to the gold/silver scrapping place. They used a machine and examined it. It’s sterling.
This is not a British mark. It falls into the category of pseudo-marks. These are often associated with early North American makers or Chinese export silver.
